REPAIR SERVICES

Due to the used spa aspect of our business Spa Warrior has the most experience with the largest variety
of spas available.  If you bust it we can fix it—as long as it‘s on a spa.  Please call for individualized
repair service quotes.

MOVING YOUR SPA

We are also experts at moving spas.  Base price for a spa move is $350, location to location, within 60
miles of Novato.  Longer distances extra.  Some spa moves may be more expensive due to various
factors and conditions including excessive stairs, hillsides or movement over fences.

SPA COVERS

We sell the finest covers available, manufactured by Cedar Mountain Spa Covers.  All Cedar Mountain
covers include:
  • Premium marine grade vinyl treated for ultraviolet and mildew protection
  • Extra durable foam cores for added strength
  • 2 to 4 inch tapered foam inserts for maximum rain runoff
  • Steel "C" channels inserted into each foam core to prevent warping
  • Reinforced zippers, straps, handle and hinge
  • Spa liner (bromine and chlorine resistant)
  • Four year warranty

Also available are Cedar Mountain's Premium Oak Thermal Covers.  The foam cores of these covers are
made from 2-pound virgin foam.  These are ideal for snow load areas where cover strength is a concern.

BASIC SPA STARTUP INSTRUCTIONS

Have a certified electrician install the electrical connection to your spa.

Spa Warrior is not licensed to install or modify any electrical components external to the spa itself.

Fill spa to fill line on skimmer (the inlet to the filter intake area).  If there is no visible fill line, make sure
you fill the spa to at least halfway up this inlet before turning on any pumps.

When the spa is full, turn on the jets.  If the jets aren't operating efficiently, the pump may need to be
primed.

Most pumps can be primed by loosening the large hand-threadable union fitting attached to the pump
(inside the equipment bay).  You only need to loosen it until air begins to escape—approximately 5 - 10
seconds.  Some water will also escape (this is normal).  Re-tighten the fitting and turn on the jets
again.  Give them at least 30 seconds to begin operating.  If the jets don't have good pressure, prime the
pump again by repeating the method described above.

Some spas have a bleed valve on the filter container that can be used to prime the pump.  this valve
may be located in various positions on the container which houses the filter.

Adjust the thermostat knob to the desired temperature (104º F is optimum).

Most spas we sell are equipped with an ozone water purification system which requires very few
chemicals.  Bromine (included in your Spa Warrior startup kit) is always required with or without ozone
purification.  Refer to the information in the Spa Warrior startup kit for more detailed instructions about
how to establish and maintain chemical balance in your spa.

If you have any questions about a new spa you can always refer to the owners manual included with
your spa.

SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE FOR YOUR SPA

WEEKLY MAINTENANCE

Test the pH and bromine levels in your spa using a water quality test strip included with
your spa.  The
test strip will indicate any adjustments needed to bring your spa to optimum operating efficiency.

MONTHLY MAINTENANCE

Remove filter and rinse with your highest pressure garden hose.  Reinstall the filter.

EVERY 4 MONTHS

Drain all water from spa, clean shell surface with Semi-Gloss (included in your spa startup kit).  Follow
the instructions included with the kit.  Add Metal-Gone (also in your startup kit) to the water to prevent
rust in the system and to properly maintain your equipment.

ONCE EVERY YEAR

Treat your wood skirting with a high-quality wood preservative, e.g., Thompson's Water Seal.

DRAINING YOUR SPA

Most spas have a hose bib inside the equipment bay that can be used for draining the spa.  If your spa
has this feature you can attach a hose and open the valve to drain the spa.  You can also drain your
spa by siphoning the water with a garden hose.

Caution: Be sure to unplug your spa before working on it or draining it.  If you drain the spa and it is not
unplugged the motor will run continuously without proper lubrication and will quickly burn out.
